02 / Terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Roy-Gulyamov Digital Inc. for the Resumify iOS app, including Resumify Premium. They are the custom end user license agreement for the app.
These Terms of Use are a contract between you and Roy-Gulyamov Digital Inc. (“we,” “us,” and “our”). They govern your access to and use of the Resumify iOS application and the accounts, storage, and AI features we operate for it (the “Service”).
By creating an account, tapping to accept, or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use Resumify for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. The Service is intended for individual job seekers using their own application materials.
Resumify helps you score, edit, tailor, and generate resume text, draft cover letters, and keep track of jobs you choose to save. Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence. Output is a draft for you to review before you send it to an employer or anyone else.
We may add, change, or remove features. We may set reasonable limits on file size, file type, request volume, and how many resumes an account can store. PDF and Word files are the resume file types the Service accepts. A current limit is described in the app when it applies.
Some features require a paid Resumify Premium subscription. The app describes what Premium includes before you subscribe.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We may close an account that belongs to someone under 18.
You need an account to use Resumify. You can register with an email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials private. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe someone else is using your account.
The optional intake questions ask for a target industry, a role category, an experience band, and an age band from 18 upward. If you choose Other for industry or role, you may type your own answer. You may skip every question. Accounts created before September 30, 2026 at 00:00 UTC are not shown these questions. Those answers, including anything you type, are described in the Privacy Policy. They are not part of the resume tools.
We do not ask how long you have been job searching, and we do not ask for a cancellation reason. We do not collect a satisfaction rating.
After you finish Improve and return to Home or My Resumes, the app may invite you once to leave an App Store review. You can dismiss it. If you submit a review, you submit it to Apple. We do not receive the rating or the review text. The Privacy Policy describes that invitation.
Signing out removes the working copies of a task from that device. It does not delete your account or the resumes stored for it.
You keep ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, notes, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). A screenshot of a job posting may be owned by the employer or the site that published it. You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload what you upload.
You grant us a limited license to host, copy, process, display back to you, and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, to keep the Service secure, and to comply with law. This license includes sending the relevant text or screenshot to the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy when you run a feature that needs it. The license ends when Your Content is deleted from our active systems, except for backup copies that expire on the schedule in the Privacy Policy and copies we must keep where the law requires it.
We do not publish Your Content to other users. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train a Resumify model.
You can delete a resume in the app. Deleting a resume deletes the stored original file for that resume as well as the text and related records for it.
Scores, edits, tailored wording, generated resumes, cover letters, and text read from a screenshot are produced by automated systems. They can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. A score is the feature’s assessment of the document against the criteria in the product. It is not a statement of how an employer, recruiter, or applicant tracking system will treat you, and it is not a promise of an interview or a job.
You are responsible for reading every result before you rely on it or send it. Do not present generated text as something you have verified if you have not verified it. You are responsible for the truth of the experience, credentials, and dates in materials you submit to an employer.
As between you and us, you may use the output we generate for you in your own job search. We do not promise that output is eligible for copyright protection, that it is unique, or that it is free of third-party rights. Similar output can be produced for someone else from similar input.
Intake answers and usage records are not part of the AI request. We do not provide your age band, target industry, role category, experience band, feature-usage history, workflow completion or abandonment, processing time, export records, app version, or error codes to the scoring, editing, generation, tailoring, cover-letter, or extraction features.
We do not collect a job-search duration, a satisfaction rating, or a cancellation reason, and those things are not inputs to those features either. An App Store review you choose to submit is not an input to those features.
Those records do not change your results or your credits. An active Premium subscription does change which features you can use. That subscription check is separate from the intake and usage records. The Privacy Policy describes the usage records we do keep.
You agree that you will not:
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that creates a security risk, or that we are legally required to close. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.
We and our licensors own the Service, including the app, the scoring and editing design, the visual design, and the Resumify name and logo. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the iOS app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services terms and these terms.
You do not receive any other right in our intellectual property. You may not copy the app, our branding, or our feature design for your own product. Feedback you choose to send us may be used to improve the Service without any obligation to you, except that we will not publicly attribute a private support message to you.
The Privacy Policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to access or delete it. It is part of the relationship between you and us. These terms do not override a privacy right that the law says cannot be overridden.
Resumify Premium is a set of auto-renewable subscriptions sold by Apple through the App Store. The subscription lengths offered in the app are one week, one month, and three months. The title shown for the paid service is Resumify Premium.
The price is the price Apple shows on the purchase sheet before you confirm, in the currency Apple presents, and it may include tax. As of the effective date of these terms, the app displays a weekly plan, a monthly plan, and a three-month plan. If the price in the app and the price on Apple’s confirmation sheet ever differ, the confirmation sheet is the price you pay.
Payment is charged to the Apple ID you use at confirmation. The subscription renews for the same length unless you cancel it. You can turn off renewal in your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you do not cancel in time, Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. We do not operate a separate billing account, and we do not receive your payment card number.
You can restore an existing subscription in the app with Restore Purchases. Deleting your Resumify account, deleting the app, or signing out does not cancel the subscription. Cancel the subscription with Apple. Apple’s refund policy governs refunds of App Store charges. You can request a refund from Apple through Apple’s Report a Problem flow.
Premium access ends when the paid period ends and the subscription is no longer active. We may change prices or plan lengths for later purchases and later renewal periods. Apple will present a price change that requires your consent under Apple’s rules. Features included in Premium may change as the product changes. A change will not take away a paid period you have already purchased. That period continues until it expires or you cancel under these terms.
If a free trial or introductory price is offered, the app and Apple’s purchase sheet will show the length and the price that applies when the offer ends, before you confirm.
You can delete your account in the app. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected]. Deletion removes the account and the personal information described in the Privacy Policy, including stored resume files, intake answers, and usage records we can tie to you. If you used Sign in with Apple, we revoke that app credential as part of deletion.
Before the account is deleted, the app will tell you that an Apple subscription keeps billing until you cancel it with Apple, and it will direct you to Apple’s subscription management. You can delete the account immediately. You do not have to wait for the subscription to end.
We may suspend access if these terms are broken or if continuing the account would create a security or legal problem. You may stop using the Service at any time.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement, and we disclaim any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, that a score will match an employer’s judgment, or that AI output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular application.
Some provinces do not allow certain disclaimers. If the law where you live gives you a warranty we cannot disclaim, that warranty still applies, and our responsibility for it is limited to the extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roy-Gulyamov Digital Inc. and its directors, officers, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or hiring outcomes, arising out of the Service or these terms.
Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service or these terms is limited to the amount you paid Apple for your Resumify Premium subscription. If you have not paid for a subscription, that limit is zero. This cap applies to all theories of liability.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under the law where you live, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that limitation is prohibited. They do not take away non-waivable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario), or under the consumer protection statute of your province.
If a third party brings a claim against us because Your Content infringes their rights, or because you used the Service in a way these terms prohibit, you will indemnify us against the damages, reasonable legal fees, and costs that result, to the extent the law allows. We will tell you about the claim and let you participate in the defense where that is reasonable. This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own fraud, negligence, or breach of these terms, and it does not apply where a consumer protection law says it cannot apply.
We do not display one user’s library to other users. If you believe material stored on the Service infringes a copyright, email [email protected] with:
We will review complete notices and remove or disable material when we conclude it infringes. A notice that demands payment, or that exists only to extract a settlement, is not a notice we are required to act on as a copyright complaint.
We may update these terms. We will post the new version at this address and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will give you notice in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, delete your account and stop using the Service. A price or renewal change for a subscription follows the Resumify Premium section and Apple’s rules.
We do not promise that the Service will be available at all times. Maintenance, provider outages, and events outside our control can interrupt it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send the dispute somewhere else.
Courts in Ontario have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these terms or the Service, except that you may bring an eligible claim in the small-claims court of your province, and except that a non-waivable consumer protection law may allow you to sue in your home province. Nothing in these terms requires arbitration, and nothing in these terms waives a right to participate in a class proceeding where the law where you live does not allow that waiver.
If you live outside Ontario, you may have consumer rights in your place of residence that these terms cannot reduce. Those rights still apply.
Before filing a claim, please email [email protected] with a short description of the dispute and what you want. We will try to resolve it. This request does not limit a deadline that the law imposes on a claim, and it does not prevent you from seeking urgent injunctive relief.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following applies, and it controls if it conflicts with another section on the same point:
